Hello, I’m Catherine!

Over the last 25 years, I have worked for several business owners and have been a business owner myself.  As a CFO, I was integral to the restructuring and scaling up of a mid-size construction firm. This experience fueled my desire to establish a woman-owned construction company, certified to work with the State and City of New York. While I embraced this extraordinary experience and the success that came with it, I realized that this business model was not aligning with my personal goals. I was exhausted and concerned about scaling back to make time to enjoy my family and friends. I was worried about its impact on my business and income.

I began to focus on why I started this journey and what parts of it I was still passionate about. The answer was in the process. Understanding business, developing it, growing, and aligning it financially to my lifestyle. I developed an exit strategy and seized an opportunity to share my skills in another way.

I have spent the last decade working alongside an Investment Advisor. When meeting with families and business owners, I found their concerns always came back to, Who, What, and Why.

Experience has shown me, the earlier the process of understanding these questions begins, the better the outcome.

I felt I needed to share this knowledge with a wider audience.  If I could reach more business owners, earlier in their business cycle, I could make a greater impact.
